As hydraulic mechanic in this company, you’ll start out in the workshop, where you’ll be trained by the company’s experienced mechanics. Together with them, you’ll work on several projects, from mounting complete hydraulic systems to repairing components. As soon as you are sufficiently prepared, you’ll carry out service and repair work on location together with a colleague. This company provides smart and innovative hydraulic solutions of high quality for the shipping industry in particular. They design and create installations, fix errors and perform maintenance work on the equipment of clients throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany.
This company is growing fast and is therefore looking for an experienced mechanic.
For this position you have the following qualities:
- Technical education and background;
- Experience in hydraulics;
- Able to work independently and service minded;
- Flexible in terms of working hours and able to shift quickly in case of problems or a sudden change in the planning;
- Good communicating skills to advance both internal as external relations and contacts.
Next to the normal working hours – Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 – you’ll regularly work overtime in the evening and on weekends, due to the 24/7 malfunction-service this company offers.
